I got mine from the Sears Catalog

Jennifer and I wanted to take our new house (94 years old) and attempt to return its accents to the original colors and detail. During her research Jennifer uncovers this. So this house is considered a four square or “prairie box” home. But what we found even more interesting is that it may have come from Sears. Sears used to sell homes pre-packed and shipped to your location for you to assemble. It looks like we may have a Fullerton style house.
Today Nathan and Jode went on a historical record hunt to try and verify what the story really is…. We will keep you posted on our progress.

So glad to hear you all are doing well. I read Cori’s and Jenny’s blogs for the last month too and am constantly amazed at how tough your family is. I’ve been thinking about you guys for the past month and the hardships you are all going through. I often feel guilty for this cozy life I have built for myself in Santa Barbara, especially when I hear about your struggles from Mom. Jessica will be two in June, yes it has been that long since I have seen you and longer since I have seen your family. Maybe I will talke Heidi into getting out your way sometime before the end of the year.
Heh… this turned into more of an email than a blog comment… I just don’t get this blog thing anyway…
